| During the final years of naval administration, the headquarters was located in Chuuk. These quonset huts, shown here in 1950, might have become the seat of government for the Trust Territory. Instead, when the capital was relocated on Guam, they were turned into classrooms for Pacific Islands Central School (PICS). |
