Micronesian Seminar has operated a media studio since 1994. Since then it has produced
72 videos through its Island Topics series. The videos are all listed with their descriptions and purchase information. These videos are available for sale, or they can be downloaded here or viewed in our on-line theater.
In addition to its own productions, the MicSem Library also houses 564 videos in its resource center. These include historical footage, newsreel footage from World War II, television shows produced on the islands, and videos of special events.
The MicSem Online Photo Album Collection includes 31 albums on historical themes. Many of these are also available for online viewing as videos. Other albums center on a variety of themes, many related to nature.
The MicSem Library also maintains a collection of 61,909 photos, many of them of historical value, in its own resource center.
MicSem Music Sampler is a selection of chants and songs posted periodically online. These are generally organized around a single theme. Past selections are archived here.
The MicSem Music Collection currently contains over 4 songs, hymns and chants. These musical tracks, recently added to the resource center, can be searched on line, just as publications, photos and videos can be.
MicSem has produced radio programs in local languages on several topics. The programs, which range from health issues to the use of land, are archived here.
