No one could compare with the iroij, or paramount chiefs, in dress style, as this picture shows. Jebrik, one of the two main iroij on Majuro, stands with his wife. With his top hat on his head, watch fob in his pocket, and umbrella in hand, Jebrik might have been at home in any of the capitals of Europe.
