| This is the Japanese Government headquarters as it looked about 1935. The headquarters was located where the Ministry of Education building stands today. The capital of the territory was moved to Palau in 1920 when a civilian administration replaced the Japanese Navy. Koror developed quickly once the capital was relocated there. |
