RECREATION: Men of the 864th Bomb Squadron, 494th Bomb Group, have dinner at Enewetok, Marshall Islands. They are S/Sgt. Royal C. Gaines of 4836 N.E. Everett St., Portland, Oregon, radio operator; Sgt. Gordon O. Larsen of 841 71st St., Brooklyn, New York, tail gunner; and Sgt. Billy R. Tingle of 1110 Illinois St., Fairchild, California, gunner; the other men are not identified. The 494th Bomb Group is moving from the Barking Sands Airstrip on Kauai, Hawaii, to Angaur Island in the Caroline Islands. 19 November 1944.
