MISCELLANEOUS: When the first detachment of the 7th CCU went forth to battle at Kwajalein a door was constructed to carry the history of the detachment by missions. After moving to Saipan and changing locations three times the door vanished. Then one day it was found at Chalan Kanoa, adorning the house of a native family as shown in the picture. 1945.
